Deathfat: Funerals and Futurities

Join Death Doula LA and Deathfat Doula for a community workshop designed for deathworkers, fat people, and their loved ones. Isabella Carr, theologian, deathworker, and Death Doula LA Graduate Intern will discuss Deathfat, a theological and practical approach to end-of-life care for fat people rooted in her research. She will also explore material considerations necessary for improving accessible and empathetic death care for fat people now and in the future.
